You are spot on. You don't see it as much now because only 5 states don't offer girls wrestling. In the other 45 states, girls wrestle girls only. However, there are plenty of 150lbs, 160lbs,and 170lbs girls in those states that could defeat boys. Virginia is a state that does not have separate girls wrestling, and Mary Smith of Cave Springs HS wrestles at those weights and defeats boys. A TikTok clip she posted of one of her matches has over a million views. It shows her not only beating her male opponent, but picking him up,agaist his will, and slamming him, Mary has a strong build and has no inhibitions showing off her substantial biceps.
